Having spent over a decade living in Asia, John King is an incredible source of knowledge for what life is like on the other side of the world.
Whether it be hiking through mountains in Taiwan, developing powerful relationships in the business mecca of Hong Kong, or refining and ultimately perfecting his Mandarin in Beijing, the 37-year-old King has already experienced and accomplished more than some will ever have the privilege to do.
I had the good fortune of meeting King back in the spring of 2019 during a frenzied stretch in central Florida.
In addition to reveling in the glorious sunshine and tipping back enough Grey Goose to sedate a wild boar pig, whether I knew it or not, King’s presence had a lasting effect on my identity. He was critical in expanding my perspective of the world due to his abundance of knowledge, not only of Asia, but also as it related to living with purpose and integrity.
