Six years ago (wow, time flies) I clicked on a Facebook ad
A few months after that, I was on a plane to Beijing, China to become an English teacher
Kind of funny because my main motivation in going there was to party and fraternize with the local women
But I ended up living there for a year
Met some characters along the way
Some were downright weird
Others forever altered my perspective (thank you for that Casey Nordbak)
It’s not always fun or easy to reflect on the past, but sometimes it’s necessary in order to evolve
That’s been the common theme throughout this book writing process:
Evolution
And that’s why I’m excited to announce that I just signed a deal to publish my third book, The Long Road Through China
Big thank you to everyone who has helped me get to this point, including:
The aforementioned CN for his unabashed criticisms and insightful suggestions
And Sam Lacrosse for reminding me to trust myself and affirming that book #3 is “on brand”
Looking forward to the road ahead! QS
